Hello, my name is Tae-woo Kim, and I’m in the first year of middle school, specifically, Gae-Po middle school! First of all, I guess I’ll talk about how happy I am to get the top prize, and also the highest score in our country (although there are probably others with the same score). Not only that, not going to lie, I do feel proud for getting this amazing score when I’m only a middle school student. Anyways, while I didn’t try writing this kind of stuff much, but I’m assuming I should talk about how I studied, so I guess I’ll do just that.
So, first things first, living in another country (Malaysia, maybe you’ve heard of it?) was certainly quite helpful. Their official language isn’t technically English, as far as I know, they do speak it quite a lot. Also, going to an international school certainly helped. While replicating this exactly could be hard, you probably could try to replicate it to some point by like talking to foreign people and stuff. Also, as watching lots of animations like murder drones (I’m just using this as an example because of fan loyalty) is also helpful. Apart from that, the fact that I like reading books, and do read a lot of them, was also certainly helpful. To me, they seem basically like an animation or movie, but just minus the sounds and visuals. If you weren’t brought up to like books, this may be hard, but I know it certainly helped A LOT. As far as I can see, the questions I got wrong seemed to be about hard words are… very exotic, and/or some confusing grammar problems.
I talked about how I studied, and how I felt about the score so I think this is probably complete. Actually, I am a bit annoyed that I couldn’t get 100, but oh well, I suppose this is still very good. I also want to try taking a harder test too… Anyways, I don’t know if I wrote this good enough, but we all need to start somewhere… Also, I have doubts if this text was formal enough. I’m also certainly worried about what percentage was just pure rambling. I almost said NGL, not “not going to lie” as well… Now that I think about it, this is actually good writing practice. Well, random reader, I hope you didn’t think this text was bad and good day to you (Also, I can’t believe you read this part)!
